The results of elections held in four states are being announced. It is very clear from the results that the voters are fed up from Congress and people elected BJP in the three states out of four.

In Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, BJP got the overwhelming majority with 165 and 162 respectively whereas Congress got only 58 and 21. In Chhattisgarh, BJP retained itself in power with a thin majority with 49 seats followed by Congress with 39 seats.

The major surprise happened in Delhi where the first time contesting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 28 seats. In Delhi, BJP won 32 seats and has fallen short of majority vote. Congress got the major set back by winning just 8 seats. Even Congress’s three time CM Shiela Dixit got defeated by more than 22000 voted from Arvind Kejriwal from her New Delhi seats. It shows the anger and huge disappointment of the voters towards Congress’s woking, rampant corruption and inflation. In this way, no one has got the majority vote in Delhi to make the government.

No one has expected that Arvind Kejriwal lead AAP will win that much of seats in Delhi elections. It means that people have fed up the working style of countries major political parties and they are being waiting for such kind of option.

It seems that the much hyped magic of Modi factor hasn’t delivered well in these elections as BJP has won in three states not because of Modi but because of these states individual CM candidates image and work.

As the 2014 general elections are approaching, it will be interesting to see how BJP and Congress take these results and how they plan their future actions. Also, experts believe that what kind of role AAP will play in 2014 election will also be important because of their overwhelming support in their Delhi elections.
