Vishal Bhardwaj directed film ‘matru ki Bijlee ka mandola’ seems an above average movie as it lacks that kind of flawless and tight script as of ‘7 khoon Maaf’. We give this movie two & half star.

Although the performance of the movie’s leading stars is quite convincing and well performed. Imran khan has played the role of a Haryanvi person well and adopted well both in terms of language and outfit. Pankaj Kapoor has outperformed all the actors in performance and has shown again his deep rooted talent.

The plot of the movie revolves around the illegal land acquisition where an industrial wants to marry her daughter with set goals but she fall in love with her home’s odd job man. This time, the director has taken too long time to set the background of the movie.

The first half of the movie is a little long and dragged. The music of the movie is just fine and nothing extra-ordinary.

You may get disappointed with the plot of the movie but the acting of the leading stars seems making for it. So you can give it a try on the weekend.
