The final match of Australian Open men’s single was a treat to be watched as both the players have played great Tennis at Melbourne. In the longest match of Australian Open history ever - a match of five hours and fifty three minutes, Novak Djokovic of Serbia defeated Rafael Nadal of Spain in five sets 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7, 5-7.


The two players have shown their impressive skills in the game. These two heavy weights punched each – other’s balls in a great way to win the match and at last.


There are many times when match shifted from one’s favour to the other. The ultimate winner at the end in fact is the game itself and this game will be remembered for long.


Novak Djokovic, in his semi-final match, defeated Andy Murray in a long match of four hour and fifty minutes. He defeated murray in five sets 6-3, 3-6, 6-7, 6-1, 7-5. This match was also very impressive and tough fight was given by both the players.


Rafael Nadal, in his semi-final match, defeated the legendry player Roger Federer in the straight sets 6-7, 6-2, 7-6, 6-4. In this match, he outplayed Federer.


At the end the defending champion, Novak Djokovic won the Men’s single final of the Australian Open. Although, he seems more tired during the match than Nadal but he came out as the winner and won an amount of US$ 2,300000 and KIA motors special motor.
