It seems that the bad phase of Indian Cricket Team especially overseas is not going to end as Indian team has lost first three test matches in Australia with a huge margin or even inning defeats. Their defeat in England and now in Australia has raised many questions.

Seniors players such as Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman etc are passing through a rough phase and many experts of the game are demanding their retirement or ousting from the team.

India need to find out real fast bowlers and consistent batsmen if want to succeed in all format of the games. The lower order also needs to understand their responsibility of batting atleast in the needful situation.

Most of the successful teams of the world have atleast 2-3 fast bowlers with a speed of 145 km/h whereas no Indian bowler consistently bowls over 145 km/h. Even many same sub continental teams like Sri Lanka and Pakistan have such kind of bowler. So Indian Cricket Team has to find out such bowlers. India needs to find out this kind of talent seriously.

Also India need to prepare fast pitches in Indian stadiums so that their fast bowlers can practice and bowl well overseas at good speed.

Some of the senior players have to decide for themselves that they are more suitable in which format and they should stick to that. Also a few of them have to make the way for the young players in the Indian Cricket Team.

BCCI need to take the matter seriously that why Indian team fails in overseas countries. They need to take some strict steps if they want to see Indian Cricket Team at no. 1 spot for longer time. They also need to keep good bench strength of players as an option.

We just can hope that this time things will be taken more seriously and some fruitful steps will be taken by the concerned authority.
